| Garland Evans passed away on January 8, 2016. He was an all CIF RB from Barstow HS where he was one of the most notable athletes from 1969 to 1972. Garland graduated from Barstow High with a full scholarship to Arizona State University. After a knee injury, he completed his education and football career at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California playing in the backfield with Hank Bauer from 74-75. |
